Meyer Performing Arts Studio Acting and Musical Theatre program is starting September 22nd and you’re invited! In this program, we develop and dive into the artistry of acting and musical theatre all while having a blast and creating bonds that will last lifetimes. In the Fall, we work on everything from improvisational skills, scene work, audition practice and much more. Then in December, we audition for our May show (The Lion King!!). Whether your children are crazy and outgoing, or shy and reserved, everyone will benefit from the life skills, team bonding and artistry that theatre provides. This program is great for the veteran performers and the beginners alike!

  1. Kelly Bounkeua says:

I am also registering my other daughter, Kierra, who is 9 1/2 years old as well.

We have a prior event on Sept 22, but perhaps we can attend for part if not all of the time to be introduced, etc.

This is an awesome timing of this program because my daughter, Kitana was just saying she wanted to start theater programs after her their first audition at Northwood Middle School Elf musical yesterday.

  2. Kelly Bounkeua says:

Hi, I’m registering both daughers (ages 9 and 11) but only received one confirmation of successful registration so making sure it went thru.

  3. Jhana says:

We missed this class. My daughter had theater acting classes and had theater performances.

How can my daughter join for the May performance?
    Do you have any auditions?

I hope to hear from you.

    • Cassie Welliver says:

      Hi Jhana!
You can join anytime! The next class is tomorrow afternoon. Just register your daughter here, the only requirement is that she is 6-15 years old, then I will send you an invoice. Starting in the new year, this class will be reserved through the City of Renton’s recreation activities system (What’s Happening).

      Cassie Welliver, Theatre Manager

  4. Shannon says:

I just happen to start looking into this for my daughter and on here it says ages 6-15 but on the City of Renton site to signup it says ages 10-40?
